Target Audience: Overseas students aspiring to obtain the International Chinese Teacher Certification  

I. Program Background  

The "Certificate of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages" (CTCSOL) is a nationally standardized certification hosted by the China Vocational Ability Appraisal Center, serving as an authoritative credential for assessing proficiency in international Chinese language teaching. This certificate is a mandatory requirement for selecting Chinese teachers and volunteers at Confucius Institutes, and it also serves as a key reference for educational institutions worldwide when hiring Chinese language instructors. Starting in 2025, the certification will be administered through a tiered examination system, consisting of three levels:初级 (Beginner), 中级 (Intermediate), and 高级 (Advanced).  

To support overseas students, Guopei Network offers a CTCSOL preparation program designed to help participants systematically master professional knowledge and teaching skills, enabling them to efficiently pass the certification exam.

- Current and recent graduates majoring in Chinese-related fields from universities abroad  

- Overseas students interested in pursuing careers in international Chinese education  

- Individuals from all walks of life seeking to obtain the International Chinese Teacher Certification  

III. Training and Examination  

1. Primarily self-paced online recorded courses supplemented with live sessions for instructor-led explanations and Q&A  

2. All examinations are conducted online  

3. Course validity period is one year; candidates who do not pass the exam may retake core courses free of charge
